The visit to Munich by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, sent a strong signal regarding the further deepening of German-Emirati relations.
Highlights included the ceremonial reception hosted by Minister President Dr. Markus Söder with military honors at the Munich Residenz, the signing of the Bavarian State Government’s guest book, and the subsequent high-level business forum at the Bayerischer Hof.
The announcement by the United Arab Emirates that it intends to invest an additional 40 billion euros in Germany is of particular economic significance. Future cooperation will focus in particular on energy supply, technology, artificial intelligence, modern infrastructure, and securing international supply chains.
Dubai Business Consulting was also represented as part of the business delegation. For us, the visit was a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, develop new prospects for cross-border projects, and further expand economic ties between Germany, Bavaria, and the United Arab Emirates.
